Racing Tips
» Put money on horses that have already won races.
» Avoid making a bet on a horse that has just arrived at a new class. He can be out of his group.
» Search a horse that has a reputable chance of winning but don´t bet on a too weighty.
» Stay away from overestimated horses. Horses that are greatly favored to win will gain more often but you will not get enough reward to bet on them.
» Look for value bets and not just the bets most likely to be successful.
» When the race is slow or heavy, prefer fast starters. Slow, muddy and heavy track conditions usually favor the horse that takes an early lead.
» Limit your bets- don't gamble on every track.
» If a horse is heavily backed just a few minutes before the start of the race and his odds are sharply reduced, bet on it. This is a strong suggestion that somebody has certain information about the horse that nobody else is aware of.
» Always have predilection for a horse that has run lately. A horse that has not participated at competition for a few weeks may have suffered some setback like a damage or sickness.
» Give extra power to an experienced jockey on longer distance races (over a mile). A jockey's ability assumes greater importance as the distance increases. An experienced jockey has the experience needed to estimate rightly the speed of a race.
